Office Addition, Part 1 of 2 – Exterior

Many people dream of owning their own business; some actually go and live that dream. And they often start out with a home office, but as their business grows, they soon find a home office is neither the most practical nor the most professional option for a thriving company. Then they have a choice to make: some businesses rent or buy an office space and make it work for them, some buy an office space and remodel it to meet their needs, and some choose to build their own office, perfectly designed for their company’s unique needs.

If you’re accustomed to the convenience of having your office at home, you might find yourself regretting the move no matter how nice your new space is. But if you choose option number 3 and build your own office, you have the choice of building it within sight of your own home – perhaps even as an addition on your shop.

This week, we’ll be taking a look at the exterior of an office addition we had the privilege of building for Hostetler Roofing. Next week, we’ll step inside and see the interior.

This was the shop when we got there:

From a different angle, you can see the metal siding is installed. For the exterior walls, the owner chose Metal Max’s Light Stone color, while the trim is in Charcoal:

We would be honored to sit down with you and help you design your dream. Give us a call at (870) 845-1121 whenever your company is ready to take it to the next level.

And stay tuned for next week, when we’ll have a look inside this business owner’s new office as it was built!

Additions on House, Part 1.5 – Doors & Interior

Last time we watched the exterior progress of an addition on a house being built. Now it’s time to step inside this beautiful front door and see what happened to the interior.

But first, let’s stop and notice the wood-grain texture on this fiberglass exterior door:20180109_075707

And we’re back, looking at the completed living room, tasteful and inviting:20180109_080000

On the other side of the hallway wall, we put in a spacious pantry with custom-built shelving:20180109_082654

We also installed some additional custom-built cabinetry in the original dining room, complete with a work station: 20180109_08243520180109_082456
